Torrevieja and location The seaside resort of Torrevieja is located on the Mediterranean Sea in the south of the Costa Blanca, about 40 kilometers south of Alicante airport and a little further from Murcia airport in Spain. Torrevieja has been voted by the WHO as one of the healthiest places to live in the world. The reason is that Torrevieja is surrounded by two of Europe's largest salt lakes, known as “Laguna de la Mata” and the “Salinas de San Miguel”. The high concentration of salt, together with the temperature, forms what experts call a 'microclimate' that is unique to this area and only a few other areas around the world. The climate guarantees better well-being. Torrevieja offers many possibilities; several beaches and bays along the 20 kilometers of coast, pleasant boulevard, many bars, terraces and restaurants, a permanent fair, harbour, long pier, local shops and markets. In the wider area there is an Aquapark, salt lakes, grand market on Fridays, Zenia Boulevard and Habanera's shopping mall at 2.5 km. This location also has a lot to offer for golfers. There are more than 10 golf courses within a radius of 25 kilometers. For culture, Murcia or Alicante are a 45-minute drive away, beautiful cities to visit. There is a warm and mild climate all year round, with 320 days of sunshine per year, which is attractive for snowbirds. Even in the winter months it can still be over 20 degrees and there is plenty to do in and around the city of Torrevieja! All three apartments are located in the center of Torrevieja, 75 and 150 meters from Playa del Cura beach and the beautiful boulevard. The sea is clearly visible from the southern balcony of Cielo en Tierra. Casa Mar is located on the other side of the street, but because it is a penthouse, there is sun until late in the afternoon. And on the private solarium all day long. Parking in the streets is free. There is 1 covered garage space available and can be booked within a 2 to 5 minute walk from the apartments.

Villamartin Golf Club has an exciting design and many challenges. The course is par 72 and the length is 6132 meters from the white tees, 6037 from yellow, and 5259 from red. (Hole 17 counts as a signature hole and is a par 3 with more than 200 m from the back tee. A deep ravine is collecting many balls, and an extremely undulated green will be a challenge to most players). Hole 17 is the Par 3 signature hole with a demanding 200m carry off the back tee onto an extremely undulating green. The shot from the tee crosses a tree lined deep ravine that protects the hole and presents a challenge to most players. The course is very diverse and unlike many other courses in this part of Spain, none of the holes are equal. One of the challenges is the many old pine and olive trees. Regardless of the challenges one can from several of the holes, enjoy the beautiful view over the Mediterranean Sea.
